Managing documents in Microsoft Office Online
Note: This feature is available on an Enterprise edition of Objective Connect and only when it is enabled for you.
Participants in a workspace can now edit a Microsoft Office document online and even co-author with multiple people without ever having to download a local copy.
As a workspace participant with the appropriate permissions, you are able to manage documents in your workspace:
- create documents in Microsoft Office Online
- edit documents in Microsoft Office Online

- You have an Office 365 ProPlus, E1, E3 or E5 licence with the "Office for the web" component enabled.
Your Microsoft account is "Commercial" or "Business".
Objective Connect currently only supports the use of a "Commercial" or "Business" Microsoft account to enter into an editing session. Objective will continue to review the request to extend support for "Personal" Microsoft accounts.
