The supported audio file formats are mp3, wav, aac, m4a, f4a, and oga. Whereas, the supported video formats include mp4, ogg, ogv, webm, m4v, f4v, mov, flv, and mpeg.
-
If a preview is not available for a document or your web browser does not support previews of a video or audio file, download a copy of it to view it.
-
File types not included in the supported list are unsupported and cannot be previewed.
-
File size for preview:
-
In July 2021 preview file size limit was increased to 50 MB for certain extensions (pdf, doc, docx, ppt and pptx ). However, older documents in Objective Connect will continue to have a limitation of 30 MB in size. Only new documents and document versions will have the new file size limit.
-
For videos, preview file size depends on how much was uploaded.
-
-
Previewing documents is only available on web browsers that utilise HTML 5. Some web browsers may not support the preview of all of the supported document types.
-
When previewing Microsoft Office files in Objective Connect your fonts may not display like the original. This is because Objective Connect supports the default Windows font library and if the font in the file is not available, the preview conversion replaces the font with one that is in the standard library. This may cause some formatting changes.
For the best preview results and to limit any loss of formatting, we recommend that PDF files are shared.
